Director, Drum and Guitar Teacher
Having started playing at 3 years old, Oli found his passion for drumming at a very young age. Largely self-taught, his first public performance was while still in Primary School and since then he has added guitar, bass, piano and voice to his growing list of instruments.
Oli began teaching music privately at 16 years old and has been teaching lessons in schools for 7 years. Music has always been an enormous part of his life and ODM is an extension of himself in sharing his love of music with people of all ages.
Specialising in funk as a style, Oli is an experienced performer and has played in all manner of bands, for all kinds of purposes: jazz bands, funk bands, cover bands, function bands, weddings, corporate events, and also playing for gigs overseas. Oli’s major inspiration comes from Brandon Flowers and The Killers, so much so that as well as using much of their music in his live performances, he also performs as a Brandon Flowers tribute act, called ‘The Killer’.
ODM encompasses everything that Oli loves about music: excellent performance; accessibility for everyone; and growing a passion for music of all genres.
It’s the first day of December and to celebrate we have complimentary Mince pies Courtesy of The Rhythm House for every customer who spends £20 or more… We now have copies of Dave Day’s Fantastic New album in store RRP £10
“Tales of Billy Jenson”
Lords of Black is the band fronted by the new voice of Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow – Ronnie Romero. Lords Of Black made an impact with their debut album, a great mix of modern sounding Metal meets Classic Hard Rock, with excelent melodies, hooks, interesting and progressive elements and great lyrics. Their live performances made them gain even more reputation among fans, media and international scene, but it was at the end the production of their new album when the news run like fire: legend Ritchie Blackmore announces his comeback to Rock with a new Rainbow line up featuring Ronnie Romero as lead singer. This is a total game changer, making Lords Of Black globally discovered and landing a record deal with Frontiers Records, who released their second album “II” in March 2016..
